Year 5 catapult construction and testing

A few pictures from our catapult building and testing. Using knowledge gained from our Spring term science topic of mechanisms, the class researched various catapults looking at the different mechanisms that each had.

Following this, they planned their own design and building schedule and showed incredibly teamwork to construct some wonderful designs. All of the groups did fantastically and they had a truly enjoyable time during the whole process.
