In our science topic on ‘materials we have been learning about different materials and their properties. We were detectives and went on a material hunt, inside and outside the classroom. We have looked at which materials are suitable for a particular job and why and discussed the properties of different materials. We had fun finding the best raincoat for Katie Morag and a protective case for Humpty Dumpty. The children also learnt lots of new vocabulary associated with this topic.
SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
