During the first half of the spring term we have been developing our PE skills in gymnastics. The children have learnt different shapes and created these on floor mats. They have practised linking a shape with a balance and they also practised different kinds of jumps, both on the floor mats and off the apparatus. Recently they learnt different rolls including the pencil, egg, teddy bear and front roll. We have applied our skills on the apparatus and have developed a linked sequence with four elements in and performed these for one another.
